WHY WE DO THIS

Free lunch ends at the bell on Friday.

Every Baldwinsville student eats free at school. But when the bell rings Friday afternoon, that support disappears for two whole days. For a growing number of local families, the weekend is the hardest stretch of the week. Enough of our district's students qualified for free or reduced meals that now every student gets free lunch.

All participation is confidential. Schools identify the students in need; our volunteers handle the rest. Since 2015, the program has grown from a single school and a handful of students to all 8 schools in the Baldwinsville district.
